This lower splash apron is for the 1930-31 Model A when running a 32 grille shell and also a rack and pinion. There is provision in the lower section that extends the panel forward and then down to conceal the rack and pinion. This will only work correctly when using a ’32 grille shell and would require modification if using the original “A” shell.

Part number 9003018 This fiberglass splash apron has the bulge in the front to cover up a rack and pinion but otherwise carries similar dimensions to our steel aprons. Some dimensions of our stock 28-29 are as follows: Width side to side at rear of panel is 22 5/8" Width `''''''' `'' `''''''' at front of panel is 21 1/8" Front to rear at sides is 7 15/16" or nearly 8" Front to rear at center is 6 1/8" Vertical height at sides is 8 1/8" 4 mounting tabs (2 per side) extend 1" past the above dimensions Mounting tabs have nuts welded to them for mounting\ Mount center side to side horizontal is about 24" Vertical mount spacing is 5 5/8" center to center. (this is approximate because of the angle difference on tabs) For a 30-31 one dimension readily available is: FYI:This'stock' front apron measures app.5-1/2"below the grille shell when measured at the center. The chopped apron is as follows: THIS MEASURES 3" TALL MEASURED AT THE CENTER FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE INDENTION LIP FOR THE GRILL SHELL IF YOU ADD THE LIP BEHIND THE GRILL SHELL, IT IS 4-1/8" FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP OF THE LIP If a specific dimension or dimensions are needed feel free to visit with a tech.
