Wouldn't it be nice if your front driveshaft yoke was heavy duty, slid in and out of the tranny on roller bearings, and it had 5-1⁄2" of travel to boot? This tranny does just that but still has an internal clutch, two forward gears, two-piece floating input shaft and more. It weighs a little over 44 lbs. and accepts the common 1-1⁄16" x 3-7⁄32" u-joints. From the front face to u-joint centerline is 19-3⁄8" compressed and 24-7⁄8" extended. Comes with early Chevy crank hub.
