What's in the Box

Designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevys, this 3x2 style manifold has a balanced 180° firing order port runner arrangement. It contains an exhaust gas heat riser and offers excellent performance potential. This tri power manifold has a machined front oil filler tube pad with boss. Carb center-to-center: 5-1/2". Idle to 5500 rpm power band.

I actually installed this on a 307 in a '69 truck with a power glide, and it has strong enough torque and a nice broad power band that it works great for this vehicle.

We apologize but there is not a choke port for warm up of the older style choke spring on these intakes and the only other option would be an electric choke if the older carbs can be converted to electric.

Do I need heat spacers between carbs and manifold? part # ? gasket #s? Have Rochester 2GC style small base carbuerators. Edelbrock manifold, part # 5419 is going on Summit Racing aluminum heads. Do I need heat spacers between the manifold and carbs? And if so, can you give me that part number, etc.

On the Edelbrock Tri-power carb spacers are normally not used. If you feel the need or have vapor lock problems you may want to conside TD Performance Products or Moroso for availability.

Part #5418 is for 3 bolt carbs and 5419 is for four bolt carbs

It is very doubtful with the height of this intake and carburetors and air cleaners that without alteration of the hood there would be sufficient clearance.
