looks sharp
theres very few places to mount a battery in an old truck, so is not in the way or where it doesnt look right.
this battery box solved some signifagant problems I had moving the battery out of the engine bay...it made the battery accessable for maintenence, looks great, easy to install, its great!!!
Easy access to the battery without needing to remove the drive shaft! Perfect for tight space concerns.
Very nice box. The quality is evident and I also like the fact that you can drop the battery out completely if necessary.

is box strong enough for off road pounding

The battery box is suitable for a low-speed, off-road situation (such as maybe a Rock Crawler), but I would not recommend it for a high-speed, pounding, bouncing off the ground type of situation.

does box drop straight down ? is there a outlet in san diego ca ? cost ? how long to ship ? is it strong enough for off road ? steel or aluminum ?

will it work on a 2007 e-350 diesel, 4 wheel drive ford van connected to frame under van ?

This battery box is a pretty universal piece. If you have the room for it on your frame rail (something you will need to determine by looking underneath your van and measuring the area you wish it to occupy), it should make a fine addition to your vehicle. The battery box accepts a battery up to 10-1/2" long, 7" wide, and 8" tall. The battery box itself measures 11-1/4" LONG, 7 3/4" WIDE, 9 1/4" TALL.

This drop out battery box needs to be mounted to a vertical surface and can be bolted in place or welded in place. It allows more access for jump starting or battery removal when set at the lowered position.
