This exhaust wrap by Design Engineering, Inc. is made from pulverized lava rock and can stand 1800 degrees directly or 2500 degrees indirectly. Perfect for those extreme conditions and you don't need to use any spray-on coatings with it. Resists abrasion for longer life.

Works best on Stainless Steel headers.

The Best exhaust wrap I have found

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have used many different brands of exhaust wrap, this DEI brand is by far the best. It is the most durable, able to stand up to open headers on dirt tracks. It is so tough, a razor blade will not last long cutting it, best using tin snips. Heat retention is superior, a proven power and torque increase was found to be about 2% HP and 2.5% torque on a chassis dyno, over the same non wrapped header

Awesome Product

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this product for my V-Twin ATV because it was so hot on my legs. It got so bad that after a days ride, my legs would blister. I wraped the headers with this product and it knocked out a lot of the heat. I'm not going to say it deleted the heat problem but it cut it so far down that I can enjoy riding all day again. Plus Speedway was the lowest cost to purchase this product [...] I WILL and have recommend this product to my friends who wants to cut the heat from the engine down.
