What's in the Box

Info

Speedway Curtis-style radius rods have a classic shape that's more distinctive than most hairpin-style designs. At 36" in length, these are ideal for non-fendered street rods. The axle ends are tapped 5/8" NF RH threads, while the chassis ends have female 11/16" RH threads to accept Ford tie rod ends for the perfect nostalgic touch.

NOT for use with rear suspension.

Great part

May 04, 2016
I have a 1929 model a rat rod that was originally set with split wish falls on a custom frame, hairpins provided a much needed space so as to connect the tie rod and steering arm. The application itself which fairly smoothly and I now have a rack and Pinion trust your unit that is set perfectly within the car and is now giving me way better steering then he made a steering box . The only con I have is that it would be helpful for someone who does not build cars all the time to have a bit more explanation on the application of the hairpin i.e. reversing the high side of loci as to how this will affect the steering and overall drivability of the car
Yes, I recommend this product.

Cost effective and attractive!

September 26, 2013
I used these on my 1931 Ford Coupe hot rod and they worked out great! Been driving for over six years now with no issues or complaints. An attractive and cost effective alternative to split wishbones!
Yes, I recommend this product.
