Q & A

What's in the Box

Speedway Curtis-style radius rods have a classic shape that's more distinctive than most hairpin-style designs. At 36" in length, these are ideal for non-fendered street rods. The axle ends are tapped 5/8" NF RH threads, while the chassis ends have female 11/16" RH threads to accept Ford tie rod ends for the perfect nostalgic touch.

NOT for use with rear suspension.

The rear of these radius rods have 11/16” RH threads for a tie rod end and the front two are 5/8" and normally use a clevis. If trying to use the rod ends with the urethane bushings and sleeves the angle would depend on the frame width. The narrower the frame the more angle needed to keep the batwings pointed straight back. No angle is required or mandatory on the front as the batwings can pivot on the perch bolt.
