COMP Cams Pro Magnum Hydraulic Lifters are specifically designed to perform at higher engine speeds. When engines are equipped with a hydraulic lifter, high rpm is limited by the improper position of the internal piston as the lifter inevitably “pumps up”. This improper location results in open valves and therefore leads to lost power or sometimes even engine failure. COMP Cams Pro Magnum Hydraulic Lifters offer a distinct advantage over standard high performance hydraulic lifters, especially in race applications where a hydraulic lifter must be used. 

COMP Cams lifters are manufactured to the highest standards and when used with their oil additive will give you the best results.

Fits 289, 302, 351W, 351C, 351M, 400M, 429, and 460 c.i. engines.

    ZDDP-enhanced Engine Break-In Oil from COMP Cams provides maximum engine life while also allowing it to reach its full performance potential. It does so by improving the surface mating of valve train components (especially flat tappets), rotating assembly, rod journals, piston rings, valve guides and other vital areas of the engine. This proprietary formula includes the optimum amount of critical additives ZDDP (Zinc & Phosphorus), Molybdenum, detergents and high grade base oil.
    The multi-viscosity, mineral-based COMP Cams Engine Break-In Oil is fully-formulated and requires no additives or supplements. In addition, the oil is fully compatible with gasoline, methanol and high octane racing fuels.
