This camshaft has an intake center line of 110 degrees. In order to achieve that intake center line you will degree the intake lobe opening to 9 degrees Before Top Dead Center @ .050" lift. The full cam card with all cam timing is available here: http://static.speedwaymotors.com/pdf/282-71315.pdf

Comp will typically stamp or etch the grind number in either the front face or the back face of their cams. The grind number of this cam is 280H

The Comp Cams hydraulic cam and lifter kit uses high energy hydraulic lifters. Specs – .842” diameter; 118g weight; 2.49” seat height High Energy™ Hydraulic lifters have a patented constant orifice metering valve that precisely meters oil to the rocker arms. Continuous contact between the metering valve and pushrod seat is maintained, eliminating excessive oiling at high engine speeds. The pushrod seat is made of a special powdered metal iron alloy that is heat-treated for strength and wear resistance. In addition, High Energy™ Lifters have a lightweight check valve disc that allows for quicker response, which results in increased engine speed before valve float. This check valve disc also maintains added control at all engine speeds and loads. COMP Cams® High Energy™ Hydraulic Lifters also contain a longer piston than conventional hydraulic lifters, which provides more load bearing surface and increases lifter longevity. The cam is listed for 1800 - 5800 rpm but Comp does not list a rpm rating for the lifters. You will need to contact Comp direct for further assistance and reference part #CL70-131-6

ZDDP-enhanced Engine Break-In Lube Oil Additive from COMP Cams provides maximum engine life while also allowing it to reach its full performance potential. It does so by improving the surface mating of valve train components (especially flat tappets), rotating assembly, rod journals, piston rings, valve guides and other vital areas of the engine. This proprietary break-in lube formula includes the optimum amount of critical additives ZDDP (Zinc & Phosphorus), Molybdenum, detergents and high grade base oil.

The multi-viscosity, mineral-based COMP Cams Engine Break-In Oil Additive is fully-formulated and requires no additives or supplements. In addition, the oil is fully compatible with gasoline, methanol and high octane racing fuels.

Complete set of "drop in" dual valve springs for your all-out Ford 2.3 race engine. These springs are designed to be direct drop in springs, with no additional machining of the spring pocket required. Dual springs help to prevent valve bounce much more effectively than the stock single spring style so they can be used in Ford 2300 engines revving up to 9000 RPM.

Springs are sold in sets of 8 only.
