I have purchased the classic instruments #275355 140 mph vintage speedometer. and this appropiate gm sender. Do you just hook up the wires as directed and it is done?? How do you callibrate the speedometer, if you have changed the tire size on your vehicle? Does the sender just do it automatically?

The wiring for the sender just wires to the gauge. Make sure you keep the wires twisted all the way from the sender to the gauge to keep interference out also when you run power to the gauge run a dedicated wire with nothing else on that circuit. The gauge has dip switches that are used to calibrate your speed.

Can this sending unit be used on a T350 trans? I currently have a mechanical cable set-up but wanted to install an electric speedo. Can I use this item with an electric speedo with a mechanical trans connect on the T350? Thanks Lawrence

This speedometer sender works with the Classic series electronic speedometers and screws onto the standard mechanical speedometer cable on GM transmissions including the 350 Turbo. If using a Stewart Warner or Autometer speedometer you may want to consider the sender specified by the manufacturer.
