What's in the Box

Info

Steel radius rods for rear suspensions. Made from DOM steel tubing and includes "S" stiffener (requires welding) which gives the arm greater strength to withstand hard acceleration. Chrome and stainless units have the stiffener welded in place. All holes are tapped 5/8" RH fine thread.

Use 5-3/4" bracket for clevis mount center bolt spacing.

It would be helpful if the stiffener was already welded in place....the chrome and the stainless have them done already....but I guess they have to be because they are already finished!!
Pros:
  • Adjustable
  • Easy To Install
Yes, I recommend this product.

Yes, this can be used on a rearend set up. This includes a pair of "Z" brackets that will need to be welded to the radius rods as a stiffner if using for a suspension application.

Typically these are mounted nearly parallel to the frame and a panhard bar is used to locate the rear end. You can use them in a triangulated configuration as well if you have the room to mount them.

We don't have a horsepower rating on these rods. If you have a high powered car with large tires that will hook up well then you may consider building some custom heavy duty radius rods. For the average street rod these radius rods work fine however.
