Heat treated, 4130 chromoly steel body with a hard chrome plated, heat treated ball to support heavy shock loads. Injection molded Kevlar/Teflon® liner seals out dirt and debris.

    These Pro-1 rod ends are general purpose, 2-piece, heavy duty rod ends. They  feature a chromoly steel body and are black oxide coated to resist corrosion.  Heat treated, precision ground ball without a race (metal to metal  contact). Pro-1 ends will withstand a greater static load than our "Standard" or  "Precision" rod ends.

    Applications: Steering & suspension  components on moderate to high horsepower applications.

They have close tolerance and have a 3 piece medium duty rod end. Carbon steel body, 5210 precision ground ball and feature a Teflon Kevlar race.
