Must be a fast learner, have strong communication skills, an excellent attendance record and be able to provide industry leading customer service. Computer skills are needed with the ability to type 30 wpm minute and no less than 120 keystrokes per minute using 10-key. Previous customer service experience is required.

Candidates must have a good range of motion and be able to lift 50 lbs. Forklift experience is preferred, but we will train. Program and operate HAAS VF 4 mill and Hitachi Seiki lathe to produce quality components to supply our international customer base of racers and hot rod enthusiasts. Experience with Solidworks, Pro/E, CAM Works and Predator programming preferred. Additional duties include: building fixtures, scheduling, cutting, and drilling as well as moderate lifting, housekeeping and handling of waste materials. Soft Goods & Gift Buyer

America’s oldest speed shop is growing and this new position will lead the charge in our growing soft goods and merchandising categories. Speedway Motors has a reputation for providing racers and street rod enthusiasts with the products they are looking for, excellent service, and industry leading fast delivery.
This individual will expand the Company’s product offerings in the soft goods and gift categories. Manage product assortment and source/recommend new products and category margins in the soft goods and gift product categories. Develop and maintain strong vendor partnerships. Study product performance and identify market trends. Collaborate with the creative department related to catalog presentation, photography and copy.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is required, plus 2-3 years of experience in comprehensive soft goods and gift product categories, catalog development, merchandising, and production. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; AS/400 and Access knowledge a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. Automotive background.
You must be energetic, self-directed, well organized and passionate about quality and an auto enthusiast.

Job duties will include providing support to accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing and reconciling deposits, bank reconciliations, posting to the general ledger, and other financial tasks. The ideal candidate must possess an accounting degree, be proficient with 10 key and Microsoft Excel, and have at least one year of experience in this field.
