If you don't want a magneto, but love the looks, get one of these electronic distributors! These fully self-contained 6061-T6 billet aluminum distributors feature full centrifugal advance for ease of starting along with 2-wire hook-up that anyone can handle. All modern electronics, including a special 2.5 Amp coil, give you a "State-of-the-Art" ignition system. Has a 3-1/2" diameter. Will work with multi-spark ignitions (such as MSD 6AL).
If you are spending the money to build a 348 or 409 Chevy engine you had just as well put a high performance aluminum water pump on it. Threaded on top for heater hose fitting. Barbed hose fitting included. Comes with gaskets.
These heads are for your '61-'65 348-409 W-Series Chevy engine. They weigh about half what a cast iron head does and are bolt-on. The 220cc intake and 90cc exhaust runners with 2.19" intake and 1.72" exhaust valves will give you a big increase in performance. This modern engineered, high-performance material is rated to a temperature of 1400° F. Steel fire rings are installed in the combustion chamber areas of the gasket. GraphTite head gaskets have superb sealing characteristics, excellent torque retention, and hold up to the punishment dished out by high-performance engines – high quality all the way.
