    Fits Ford transmissions from '57-'80's. Does no include cable drive gear.

The finishing touch to your mechanical (cable-drive) speedometer installation in your Ford. Kit includes a 7 ft. long black vinyl housing and 7' inner cable (you trim to length), billet aluminum fitting ends and instructions.

Works with all cable-drive aftermarket and original equipment speedometers that have a male 5/8"-18 threaded connection. Has 7/8"-18 end for the transmission.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Pros:
Cut to length with ease, Easy to work with, No problem adding new end
Best Uses:
Adapted to vintage tranny, Used on new speedo head
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I installed an aftermarket speedo head in a 1940 Ford with original tranny. I could not find a speedo cable that would "bolt on". I came across this cable from Speedway and thought I would give it a chance. I'm glad I did!! Worked like a charm. Easily cut to proper length with a set of diagonal pliers. They (Speedway) even supplied the crimpimg tool to put the new end on. Thanks Speedway....Job well done.
