What's in the Box

Info

Bilsteins street rod shocks are considered by many to be the best that money can buy. By using a monotube design, the piston diameter can be larger and reacts better to changing road conditions.

The shocks are also correctly valved for the front of your car to give you the most comfortable ride in a non-adjustable shock. Has 5/8" I.D. mounting eyes.

Kit includes: One Bilstein front coilover and a QA1 spring (several spring rates available).

This Bilstein shock is designed for a mounted length of 12 ½” allowing approximately 50% of the stroke for compression when hitting a bump. Extended length is 15.250 and compressed is 11.625 and both measurements from center of eyes at either end. Proper shock mount length is critical for shock life and proper handling.

Coil over kit number 2131520 is listed for hot rod and custom applications but not common for the 2500 trucks. Mount length on this shock at ride height with weight on the truck is 12 1/2" and has travel of 15 1/4 extended and 11 5/8" compressed which is likely not enough travel for your truck.
