What's in the Box

Info

These Bilstein mono tube gas shocks feature digressive valving. This delivers a new level of control by damping slow suspension movements more effectively while not allowing the chassis to be upset by sharp bumps.

Bilstein has set the standard for years in Sprint Cup, Indy Car and Formula 1. Now it is setting the standard for Modifieds, Late Models and Open Wheel.

  • Comp. Length: 13.14"

Seems well made.

July 29, 2014
Too soft on rebound for what I intended it's use compared to the Pros I usually buy. The rubber band to see length used on the 7" shock is very cheesy . The 9" Bilstein I bought on the same order is much heavier. The 7" shock also had no labeling like the 9" one did. Not what I expected for the price.
Pros:
  • seems well made
Cons:
  • cheesy little rubber for extension visual.
No, I would not recommend this product.

Best bang for the buck

July 01, 2014
I've been running these Bilstein shocks for years. They are always repeatable and rebuild/repair is reasonably priced. The best bang for the buck in this segment of shock absorbers!
Yes, I recommend this product.
