Looks awesome.

August 12, 2016
Tubes are thicker than most prevent stuff you can buy, but still easy to blow through with a mig turned down pretty low. Lots of time and effort. If you don't want to spend a whole lot of time on these, this is not for you. Took me a while weekend, all day everyday to get them finished. But I enjoy the challenge and it looks good. I used the cap for the flange and made a second flange out of it. Went to the local speed shop and bought one 3 1/2" 90* tube and made my own turnouts. These are LOUD consider that and loss of back pressure, may want to get a baffle. I put these on my 27 roadster drag car. Running a mild 468 and it blows a cone of blue flame out at open throttle and on decel pops and spits fireballs. Big eye (and ear) catchers. Very satisfied. I would recommend finding a spare head to mock these up on for final welding to avoid warping the flange. Its 3/8" thick but that won't save you. I added a pic of it mocked up and tacked and after picture was taken of it after painting. NOTE: The small round 3/4"tube between rear runner and flange DID NOT come with kit. Its my crankcase evac I put in.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Needs to be thicker metal

November 21, 2010
The gauge of metal being used needs to be a little bick thicker, for us that uses a standard wire feed welder, it punches through on the #2 setting, and even on #1 setting. It's just too thin. They are good looking though, good bends, and of course the thin gauge hepls to make those bends so smooth.
Pros:
  • Good looking
No, I would not recommend this product.
