This Bert transmission is 18 7/8" long from the bellhousing surface to the tail housing seal. This is 2 5/8" shorter than a Muncie 4 speed or Saginaw 3 speed transmission.

You would need a bellhousing such as 91027001 and a drive flange 7360071 as well as drive flange bolts 1012307306. That drive flange will only fit 1985 and older 2 piece rear main seal 350 small block Chevy engines.

We apologize but the Bert transmission number 7361000 has the same front pattern and shaft specifications as the Muncie or Saginaw on Chevy applications.

Bert transmissions do not have the pilot area on the front of the input shaft since these transmissions do not use a clutch and a pilot bearing is unnecessary. The drive flange on the crankshaft will support the front of the input shaft.
