Panhard Bar Bracket

July 13, 2016
I have bent two of these so far. They are great to use. If you run your panhard bar in the lower holes you can bend or twist these on occasion. I will continue to use them. They are cheap and easily replaceable. Much rather bend the clamp then the frame. I welded on the cap to the back of the rear end. Then just change the front when it bends. Great price. Good product.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Quality
  • Adjustability
Cons:
  • Durability
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice piece and great price!

April 02, 2015
This is a nice bracket and the price is right. Unfortunately, it will not allow the panhard bar to clear an aftermarket adjustable coil-over shock bracket. I will have to adapt the bracket to make it work. In the pic below, I have installed the panhard rod end on the outside of the bracket using spacers.
Pros:
  • price and quality
Cons:
  • not long enough to clear shock bracket
Yes, I recommend this product.

Best built bracket I've ever seen!

July 17, 2014
Used this PHB bracket as attachments for lateral links for Watt's link. Inverting one made them perfect for the upper and lower lateral links. Each corresponding adjustment hole (6) matched side to side. Had to add 3 inch exhaust tubing spacer to fit 8.8 diff but worked perfect when clamped down. Construction and welding is top notch. Looks like robotic welding: it's so perfect. All welds completely penetrating as seen from color change in metal. I could not have duplicated this for near the price. Also, got excellent product info from techs about the spacing and detailed measurements for this item before shipment. Things don't usually work out this perfectly! Thanks, Speedway!
Pros:
  • saved hours fabrication
Cons:
  • a little heavy at 7 lbs
Yes, I recommend this product.

What is the width of the mounting channel? Need to know if there is room for mis-alignment spacers? Also, the picture shows 6 location holes but the description describes 4. Thanks.

The channel is 7/8" wide. A 3/4" heim type rod end will fit but there is no room for spacers. There are 6 mounting positions.

The width between the brackets with the holes is .900" which is the correct width for a 3/4" rod end such as 1503012. You will not be able to fit misalignment spacers with this bracket.

This bracket is 5 1/2" from the center of the clamp on bracket to the center or the panhard mount holes which makes it 4" from the back edge of the axle tube to the center of the panhard mount holes.
