Best Customer service in years

The first tool I received was not as sharp as it could have been. I contacted Speedways Customer Service department and they offered to immediately cross ship a replacement complete with Second Day delivery on them! Far and away, a great company to deal with. This service has made me a customer for life.

Questionable design

So I got this ball joint reamer for a unique project I've got going on - I bought it specifically to ream a balljoint hole in aluminum. Max diameter of the hole is .7", so only the first 1/3rd of the reamer has been used The reamer is machined with a slip resistant shank, which led me to believe it was OK to use in a drill press/power tools. WRONG. Started off at 320 RPM (since aluminum) - real bad chattering. Moved down to 220 RPM - still chattering. Went to my lowest speed of 70 RPM - still chattering!! All manually fed too! This is when I decided to give up on using this reamer with power tools After the chatter session in the lathe, I noticed that the cutting edges seemed to have chatter marks on them as well, though the edges still seem sharp. I then got out a tap wrench to see if it was still usable by hand - maybe it would've been easier if the cutting edges were still good, but it did eventually cut the taper I wanted after a few minutes of manual labor Due to the issues I had with this reamer, I'm not sure if I would recommend it to anyone else. I'd have to try out the more expensive Afco reamer before I came to a final decision

Bought 7 degree reamer for new ball joints. Never used one before. Reamer worked great used a cordless drill and the ease was fantastic. I was gonna order off Amazon alot cheaper. But my machinist said is it really 7 degree and will it break while reaming factory 1971 camaro spindles. So I bought this one. Cheap work isn't good and good work isn't cheap. Thank you

Worked like it should and didn't go dull after the first hole. It did take a 3 months to get to me but not really the sellers fault. Not the cheapest but did not want one too cheap for fear I would be buying 3 of them. But at the price it's a good product.

I have installed a mustang 2 rack in my 41 Ford Pickup with a 1970 Chevelle front clip. Is this reamer what I need to get the rod ends to fit properly into the Chevelle steering arms? The reason I didn't install the correct rack for the Chevelle is that they narrowed it to fit the frame. I can't find the correct rod end for the 9/16-18 thread and the Chevelle taper. Thanks
