I fabbed a throttle linkage using these joints (LH and RH) for a triple 97 flathead Ford Offenhauser manifold. It is not progressive but a straight linkage. I chose this product mostly because I didn't want rust under my hood. The ball is getting tighter and holds the throttle open. I'm using the Holly type double spring on one side a single spring on the back side. The throttle sticks open and seems to be getting worse. Maybe the plastic on the ball is swelling? They are tight. What is going on????

These rod ends that we have in stock at this time are free and would not cause any issues with throttle sticking. If the ball of the joint is getting rusty then that is most likely the cause. We suggest replacing the joint.
