Beats the plastic ones. Can stack more tearoffs. Be careful drilling shield because these come with larger screws than the plastic ones.

no way to adjust

unlike the plastic versions, these do not have a slot on the opposite side of the screw to adjust the tightness of the tearoffs. Totally useless product.

Yes you can drill the shield and mount these posts in order to use tear-offs. We suggest that you have the tear-offs you would like to use at the time of drilling the shield so that you can locate the posts properly.
