Aluminum Battery Box Kits

Complete kit with bolts and cast aluminum top hold down. Inside measurements are 6-3/4" x 10-1/4".

This box will accept all of the Optima batteries with a very minor bit of grinding on the bottom mount flange of the battery.

916-66004

  • Outside dimensions of main box is 7-1/4” by 10-5/8”
  • Length to outside of hold down flange on box is 12-1/4”

916-66003

  • Outside dimension of lid is 7-7/16” by 11-1/16”
  • Length to outside of hold down flange on lid is 12-7/8”

Lots of bang for your buck

Pros:
Fits Well, Good price comparatively, Nice solid boxlooks good
Cons:
Mounting bolts too small
Best Uses:
Great for trunk
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I put this in the trunk of my 57 Chevy behind the spare tire. It fits there very well.
