Great customer service

September 05, 2016
The only reason i am giving it 3 stars is because speedways customer service was great. This part didnt fit on the brake kit that the tech ordered to go with the wheel spacer so i had to machine it.
No, I would not recommend this product.

Quality spacer / adapter

March 01, 2016
A well-made piece but we were using it as a spacer on the back of a Ford truck rear and the sender was not cut out large enough for the hub . A little bit of simple machining fix the problem and it works great, but I would recommend checking the hub size before you buy it to make sure it fits if you don't have a way to machine iit.
Pros:
  • Well Made
  • High Quality
Cons:
  • Center Hub Too Small
Yes, I recommend this product.

What is the thickness at the wheel not including the lip or flang? What is the width or depth of the support lip? Over all says 1.50 Just want to know the space filled. 11/2" or 1" or what have you? Again not including the lip

This spacer is 1.300" thick from the back side to the wheel mount surface. The step is .200" thick making the total thickness 1.500"

Is this a 5 on 4.5 adaptor to an early ford 5 on 5.5 wire wheel? What I don't see in the discription is the starting lug pattern. I'm putting a modern brake system drop I-beam front end on a 33 Ford Model B and what to use my existing 17 inch rim with a 5 on 5.5 inch bolt patern on a disk brake set up that has a 5 on 4.5 inch patern. What are my options?

We apologize for the confusion but part number 91028354 is basically a 5 on 5 ½" to 5 on 5 ½" spacer and includes the centering shoulder in the middle. If you want the later 5 on 4 ½" Ford to 5 on 5 ½" wire wheel then the part number is 91028351.

These adapters will bolt to the hubs in disc brake kit number 91031909 and space the wheels out 1.5" therefore giving clearance to the disc brake calipers to the inside of the wheel. The early wheels wrapped around the brake drum and the calipers in this brake kit sit within 3/4" of the bolt surface for the wheels requiring the spacer.

These adapters have a centering shoulder built into them so the 91065470 wheel support is not used.
