The second generation Camaro saw a complete redesign in 1970, utilizing a cross flow saddle mount radiator to deliver cooling. GM utilized two core sizes in the '70-'81 Camaro. Some standard models were fitted with a 20-3/4" core while Big Blocks and most Small Blocks received the 26-3/8" core. AFCO has engineered this radiator to fit in the stock location of the 26-3/8" radiator while still retaining the factory fan shroud. No modifications to the vehicle are required.
If you are replacing a 20-3/4" core radiator you must use the top mounting plate and shroud of the OEM 26-3/8" version.
