Nice - requires fitting

Pros:
Product well made

Even though the cap was made for an AFCO radiator, which I have, it still required filing and slight bending of cap tabs to fit.

Pretty, good quality but too smooth

Too smooth no grip
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Looks good, well made, but too smooth. Can't grip it to remove it. Went with hex design instead.

Q:

Can you please tell me how thick this cap is? I currently have a stock cap with a billet specialties cover and it is touching the fiberglass hood when closed and has now cracked the paint. I have an afco 2 core radiator and need a cap that is as thin as the oem cap. My current cap with cover measures 1/2 inch. Thanks for your time. Daryl Duffy
