Great radiator. Great quality. Less than FSR and Griffin

August 16, 2015
This radiator was newly installed in a racesaver 305 sprint 2 races ago. I was told by the tech guys here at speedway to stay away from the triple pass as its to much time in the radiator, don't listen to that. There is a reason AFCO put 305 right in the description. FYI, my waterpump pulleys are 30% reduction. My water temperatures have never been better. 1/2 mile track, 20 laps of green, finished the race at 210 degrees on a hot night. 3/8 mile track with lots of caution, around 190-200 degrees on average. I also purchased water wetter and run about 30% coolant. I previously owned a "downflow" Griffin and the engine was religiously seeing 220-230 at the end of the features. Damage to it prompted this purchase and I couldn't be happier. The quality of the welds and workmanship on this radiator is remarkable and it arrived packaged very well. Dzus buttoned right into my 87/40 raised rail maxim with zero modification. Dont forget the honeycomb!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Wanted to know I have a J&J 2008 raised rail chassis and was wondering what radiator tray would you use for this since the depth is wider than the standard radiator

This radiator has tabs welded on to each side to allow you to Dzus it on to the chassis tabs. It does not use a tray.

This radiator will work great for your 305 Maxim as long as it has the quarter-turn fastener mounts for a radiator.

This radiator has AN10 o-ring connections. It is not pipe thread. Use adapters such as 1062953 to attach AN10 hoses such as a push lock or stainless braided hose.
