Radiator Mounting Kit, Black Steel
Mount your radiator correctly! Kit includes two 3/8"-24 x 2-1/4" mounting bolts, lock nuts, washers, springs, and a pair of rubber cushions approximately 1/8" thick. This radiator mounting kit is an OEM way of mounting the radiators on the early vehicles. The early vehicles had frames that were not of the same quality as today’s modern frames and also the roads were less than desirable and created a lot of body and frame flex and twist. This style kit eliminated damage to the radiator from the frame flex to a rigid mounted radiator. In today’s hot rod applications or OEM installations there are a couple of mounting options. The rubber pad goes between the frame and the radiator mounting flange. The spring can sit above the radiator mount tab or down below the lip of the frame. The bolt and applicable washer go through the mounting hole and spring and is retained by the included lock nut. Nut is tightened enough to put tension on the spring in the desired amount and thus letting the radiator absorb frame flex or twist by compression of the spring.

Radiator Mounting Hardware
Mounting radiators can be a real pain, but these universal radiator mounting brackets will makes it a little easier. Brackets are designed to mount our universal aluminum crossflow radiators with a 3" thick core to a variety of applications. Don't forget to order the rubber insulator pads (sold separately).
917-34700-STL This kit contains 4 steel brackets. The lower brackets measure 3-1/4" inside to inside. The upper brackets measure 2-1/2" inside to inside.
917-34700-ALU This kit contains 4 aluminum brackets. 2 lower mounts brackets and 2 upper mount brackets (for weight savings). The lower brackets measure 3-1/4" inside to inside. The upper bracket measure 2-1/2" inside to inside. 917-34700-SS This kit contains 4 stainless steel pieces. 2 lower mounts brackets and 2 upper mount brackets. The lower brackets measure 3-1/4" inside to inside. The upper bracket measure 2-1/2" inside to inside.

AFCO 80127NP Universal Fit Aluminum Radiator, 24-1/4 x 19 Inch, GM
These AFCO Universal Fit Aluminum Crossflow Radiators use all the same technology that their Direct fit radiators do, but they do not have application specific mounting flanges and tabs. So if you are building something a little different or just want to save some cash these will fit the bill. We also have electric fan/shroud combos for these radiators listed. All measurements include the end tanks. Overall width includes mountings flanges if used. - 1-1/2" upper hose neck on the drivers side
- 1-3/4" lower hose neck on the passenger side
- 1/4" NPT brass drain cocks
- Welded-on 2" wide side mount flanges on most models
