Our completely NEW 9" Ford third members start with a heavy duty cast iron carrier featuring the larger, cast iron Daytona pinion support. Then we use a Currie 9+ limited slip differential in your choice of 28 or 31 spline and a 3.50, 3.70, 3.89, 4.11, or 4.56 gear ratio ring & pinion. Also includes NEW bearings and seals. Shipped ready for use in a plastic case.

Our reuseable rear differential gaskets have a steel core and non-stick coating. Fits 9" Ford rear axle third member housings.
Lose the RTV silicone! With Fel-Pro reuseable third member housing gaskets, you don't have to worry about applying an RTV and waiting for it to set up to seal. In addition, installing precut Fel-Pro gaskets helps eliminate the risk of contaminating the differential housing with RTV.

Our forged, heat-treated steel mini spools are designed to replace the spider gears inside the stock differential carrier. This economy spool works best for dirt applications with claimer motors and narrow tires. - For Ford 8 or 9" rear axles.
Our forged, heat-treated 8620 steel mini spools are designed to replace the spider gears inside the stock differential carrier. This premium mini spool features a larger diameter for maximum strength. It works great for most dirt applications and some asphalt.
We found a limited supply of new small yokes for the 9" Ford. They accept the 1310 series U-joints (1-1/16" caps x 3-7/32"). Fits standard 28 spline pinion gear.

This labor option is only available on Ford 9" ring gear when you purchase your new ring and pinion.A 5.43 ring gear comes out 2.6 lbs. lighter.Other ratios may vary.
These axles have 4" of spline which will allow you to cut a maximum of 3" of the spline off to obtain the correct length. This is perfect for small shops and will allow you to build your own custom width rear end easily. Axle length is measured from the flange to the end of the splines.
