These precision made 5" dropped I-Beam axles accept 1937-48 Ford spindles and have 2-1/4" axle bosses. Dropped I-beam axles feature a one-piece design cast from high-strength 65-45-12 annealed ductile iron.
These precision made 5" drop axles accept 1937-48 Ford spindles and have 2-1/4" axle bosses. Tube axles are constructed using 2" x .250" wall seamless tubing and are set up with 1-1/4 degrees positive camber.
These forged steel steering arms will attach to all 1937-48 Ford spindles but their greater drop, 3-3/4" from spindle mount holes means they work best on 1935-48 Ford cars (with spring-over front axle). Clears most radius rods and wishbones. These steering arms accept 11/16" Ford 7 degree "tapered" tie rod ends (both the top and bottom are tapered to allow tie rods to mount above or below arm as needed). You can drill-through with a 5/8" bit to use spherical rod ends.

Black steel, universal application, professionally engineered. Spring pads to be welded to the axle by the builder and are therefore adjustable on the axle for different frame widths. For 1937-1941 Ford style spindles. Choose 4" or 6" drop.
