What's in the Box

Vented stock 9-1/4" diameter brake rotors for 1974-1980 Mustang II, Pinto, or Bobcat spindles (or Speedway brake kits using '49-'54 Chevy spindles). Brake rotors are new, not plugged or re-drilled. Has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern with corresponding 1/2" diameter fine thread wheel studs.

  • Outside Diameter of rotor disc - 9.256"
  • Thickness of vented disc - .884"
  • I.D. of back side of rotor - 6.256"
  • Rear rotor face to bearing hub - .290"
  • Outer hub diameter where wheel will mount - 5.834"
  • Outer hub height - 1.450"
  • Bearing snout is 1.60" tall, 2.55" diameter at bottom and 2.384" at outer
    end.

Be sure to install new bearings and seals (910-31000) with your new disc brake rotors.

I got my '39 Pontiac with mustang II R&P. It had Ford 4 lug rotors on it and I wanted all 4 corners to be GM 4 3/4 pattern. Didn't know what I was going to do at first. Called [...]...no go, called [...]..nothing. Then someone mentioned Speedway..did my search and there they were...just what I needed. Got the new Inner and outer bearings and races at the same time. Right On Speedway!! I just wish changing out the rear from GM 5 on 5 to 4 3/4 was as easy as swapping out to these front rotors!!

No this fits '74 to '80 Pinto only. The earlier Pinto suspension looks similar but is completely different.

This rotor will fit a stock spindle and caliper from 74-80. This is a stock replacement with a 5 lug pattern.

These rotors have a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern which was fairly common on Ford vehicles. Ford also used 5 on 5" and even 5 on 5 1/2" on pickups so you may want to verify your wheel bolt pattern before ordering.

This rotor does come with races installed for Mustang II/Pinto/Bobcat spindles. If wanting to use with 1949-54 chevy spindles you will need to change races.

Part number 91031001 or 31002 These Mustang II rotors fit only on the Mustang II, Pinto, or Bobcat spindles and also the modified 49-54 Chevy spindles. They will not work on a ’35 Ford spindle and unfortunately Speedway does NOT offer a hub and rotor assembly to fit on the early 28-36 style A and B spindles. You may want to check with Brake Tech Solutions for a rotor that would work. Another option would be to update your front end to the later spindles such as our part number 91032104 and from that point we offer different disc brake kits and also the later self energizing drum brakes.

These 5 bolt Mustang II, Pinto, and Bobcat rotors fit years of 1974-80 and are 9 ¼” diameter. Can be used on the earlier 1971-73 Mustang II applications but are ¼” different in diameter.

Bearing-Seal Kit for Two Mustang II Brake Rotors

This bearing and seal kit includes two inner wheel bearings, two outer wheel bearings and two inner grease seals. This kit is enough for two brake rotors and is intended to be used with a new rotor installation as this kit does not include the bearing races or cups.

If your project willl be making use of used rotors, you will require new bearing races or cups.  Therefore you will need to purchase the bearing and seal kit # 910-31052 suggested below in place of kit # 910-31000.

Works with Mustang II/Pinto and Granada rotors using Mustang II/Pinto spindles only. It will not work for installing Mustang II/Pinto brake rotors on 1949-1954 Chevy spindles. Not for use with early Chevy spindle brake conversion kits.
