This 2.8 lb. jewel is just the ticket to run with a racing clutch. 153 tooth. Fits 1986-1996 S/B Chevy with a one piece rear main. SFI approved.

NOTE: Has no bolt holes nor provisions for torque converter.

Q:

It says in the description just the ticket to run with a racing clutch ..... Why is that ? Is it meant to be run with a clutch or can it be run otherwise ? Im looking to run it in a northeast dirt modified with a winters falcon drive flange. There would be nothing but the flexplate and the drive flange in the bellhousing. Will it hold up to that ?

Is this product balanced as if it were a stock flexplate with the counter weight welded to it? I would be using this flexplate for a dirt late model with a 1pc seal crate engine with a bert coupler
