What am I missing? When I mounted a pair of your 4" low leaf springs on my early S10 chassis with 2" lowering blocks the rear spring shackle rests against the frame and does not allow for travel, with the lowering blocks removed it only gives about 1/2" of clearence. I am also using your 4" to 6" rear drop shock absorbers. Neither set up affords a "smooth" ride. Help please...

The shackles should not move enough to allow them to bottom out on the frame rail. If this happens the spring length is incorrect or you have a very heavy load in the vehicle. If you are referring to the housing to the frame when a 6 inch drop is desired you need to “C” notch the frame using kit number 91752118. If this has already been done and the length of the spring is the concerning factor let us know and we will gladly verify the spring length offered for the S-10 to make sure you received the correct springs.
