These tail lights are replacement to the original lens to give more light output for better visibility. They are NOT designed to change the turn signals to sequential such as the some of the other Mercury and Ford products.

DO THEY NEED SPECIAL FLASER OR IS INTERNAL TO LIGHTS

These lights have a pigtail with plug in to go in place of the original 1157 style bulb. If you are running an all LED system you will need to run an LED style low load flasher which we offer in 2 or 3 prong depending on your requirements. Another option is a load equalizer or dummy load to simulate current draw such as part number 91003030. If you still have normal bulbs in the circuit no change should be required.

These LED tail lights are simple to install. Unbolt the tail light inner housing in the trunk area of the Mustang, separate the lens from the main body, take the LED lens with the pigtail attached and install in place of the lens. The pigtail plugs in place of the 1157 light bulb so simply remove the bulb and install the male bulb style end of the wiring pigtail.
