What's in the Box

These new tilt steering columns are designed to be a bolt-in replacement for 1967-1968 Camaro, Chevelle, GTO, and El Camino applications. They include a wiring harness adapter and accept common 1969-up GM steering wheels or adapters.

We recommend installing a new rag joint. 1"-48 spline.

This rack & pinion conversion kit from Unisteer will give your Nova the ease of steering and road feel modern cars have. Each kit is engineered to bolt in without sacrificing steering geometry or safety.

The mounting bracket attaches to the bottom two control arm bolts on the rear of the crossmember. To install, simply remove the existing bolts and replace with the provided longer bolts, bolting the rack up into position. Then unbolt the stock steering arms and replace them with the new steering arms provided and attach the provided outer tie-rod ends, and that is it.

  • Matches stock steering geometry - little to no bump steer
  • Complete bolt on kit - no welding or chassis modification required
  • Works with both big block and small block engines
  • Kit comes standard in black powder coat
  • Works with factory steering pump (new lines required, see Notes)

Lower your 1967-1969 Camaro or Firebird F-Body or your 1968-1979 Nova the right way with these 2" dropped spindles.  This one piece spindle design, lowers your car 2" without affecting steering or suspension geometry.  Spindles are cast from the highest quality Ductile Iron with CNC machined 4130 Chrome-moly pins.  Attaches to stock ball joints and tie rod ends.  Moves wheels out an 1/8" on each side and works with most 14" disc brake wheels.  No need for bolt-on caliper brackets.  Ready to install.  Disc brake applications only.

Front disc brakes provide a significant improvement in braking performance versus the drum brakes your car came with. This complete front disc brake conversion kit fits 1964-72 GM A-Body, 1967-69 GM F-Body and 1968-74 X-Body using your stock disc brake spindles or our new replacement stock height disc brake spindles # 910-34900.

Kit includes 11" diameter vented brake rotor with 5 on 4-3/4" wheel bolt pattern, '69-'77 GM style calipers (7/16"-20 inlets), caliper brackets, brake pads, backing plates, rubber brake lines, and all necessary bearings, seals and hardware for an easy, complete installation onto factory disc brake spindles.

Note:  Brake kit will not fit our 2" dropped spindles # 910-34906 or stock drum brake spindles. Must be used with stock style disc brake spindles and 15" diameter or larger wheels.

One thing to never forget - the wiring in your muscle car is forty years old and updating to modern and safe components is easy. These Painless Wiring harnesses feature many pre-wired connections and are color coded to make installation a snap. Instructions included.

This 24 circuit harness is designed for the 1967 and 1968 Camaro & Firebird. It uses a '69 and newer style bulkhead connector design along with blade fuses and enough circuits to wire up just about any installed upgrade to your 1st generation F-body. Some minor bulkhead modification required. Factory original quick connect terminals are included for the in dash printed circuit board.  Pre-terminated plugs for a column mounted ignition switch, dimmer switch, headlights & headlight switch, blower motor, wiper motor, and turn signal switch. Included with this harness you'll also find a detailed manual and each wire is custom printed with the circuit identification as well as using GM color codes for easy installation.
