What's in the Box

These long tube headers work with both automatic or manual transmissions in 1964-1989 Chevrolet chassis. Features 1-5/8" primary tubes, 3" collectors, and fits angled or straight plug S/B Chevy oval exhaust port heads. Built with surface machined thick steel flanges for a great seal and mandrel bent mild steel tubing. These headers are a chassis header and are meant to go inside of the frame rails on the 1965-1989 Chevrolet chassis.

Headers come with installation hardware, collector reducers, gaskets and instructions.

  • 1967-1981 Camaro (except 1967-69 with factory A/C)

Notes

  1. Fits D-Port cylinder heads including ZZ4 crate engines
  2. Does not fit 67-69 Camaro with A/C
  3. Will fit most angle plug heads including factory Chevrolet “Bow-Tie” heads
  4. Requires removal or modification of locking steering columns if equipped
  5. Installation requires left side A/C bracket; later vehicles with short compressors can use the stock bracket
  6. Will fit Detroit Speed & Engineering front subframes with rack and pinion steering

I don't know yet if these headers that were recommended by your associates will fit my headers in my Nova. If they do in fact fit then I have no problem rating speedway motors with a five star!!!! I will know within a week! !

Will these headers fit a 67 camaro with power steering Was wanting to know if these headers the 930-0110 will fit a 67 camaro with power steering with 350 engine I think it's an 800 series pump but not sure I have factory small block engine frame mounts

Yes these headers will fit a 1967 Camaro. The power steering will not be a problem but these will not fit if you have factory air conditioning.

I recently ordered these headers. I want to coat them myself with header paint. They appear to have a black finish on them. Do I need to sand that off

I would strip the headers to bare metal if you are going to coat them with another header paint or coating. This will eliminate possible incompatibility of products or numerous issues that could come up from having two different coatings on the headers.

Yes these will fit with angle plug heads. We do not list any stipulation on particular spark plugs that will or will not fit along with these headers.

will they fit D-port fastburn sbc gm heads the D-port on the fastburn heads set up .240" higher than the ZZ4 , is there enough metal to port match will need about .200". most of the guys weld the holes up and redrill .200" lower, so this will move the header up on the port. having 1.70"X1.42" seems like a pretty high port, whidh is good. the hedman headers on my monte carlo hung down in the exhaust port about a .250", must of been hurting the exhaust flow big time. thankyou, gary

No these headers are not made for the Fastburn heads with the higher D port. You would have to weld and re-drill like you mentioned for these to work.

These headers are designed for the car chassis. Speedway Motors does not offer a header for the c1500.

how far out from flange do primaries come?how far down do they come ? overall length. trying to see if i can use these on my 31 ford coupe outside frame.

they come down 11.5" they come out from the block 3" they sweep back 19.5"

Hi, I was wondering if both of these headers hang down from the engine at the same height? I bought a set of long tube headers for my 1978 Nova and the drivers side hung lower for some reason. If you could answer this question for me I would appreciate it

My guess would be oil filter clearance considering this particular header part number: 9300110 65-89 CHEV.FULLSIZE HEADERS, fits 5 different models of GM's covering a 29 year span of production vehicles. In addition, you may wish to double check the condition of your motor mounts.
