Q & A

What's in the Box

If you've upgraded your truck's front end to late model 5 -lug on 5" Chevrolet truck bolt circle disc brakes, now is the time to upgrade your rear end. With the availability of 5-lug trailing arm rear ends quickly drying up, we now offer 5-lug axles that will install into your 6-lug rear end. Our axles come pre-drilled with a 5-lug on 5" Chevrolet truck bolt circle and fit 1965-69 rear ends.

  • The axles accept 1971-72 truck drums and use the existing brake hardware
  • Available as a complete kit with axles, wheel studs and new brake drums or the use of the spider gear set
  • Will not work with 1960-62 trucks
  • Axles measure 30-3/4" from the end of the shaft to the outside face of the axle flange

Note: Factory 6-lug applications had 7/16" diameter studs and 5 on 5-lug kits have 1/2" diameter studs.

These will only fit the original rear end from a 1965 to 1969 Chevy pickup 10 or 12 bolt rear end which was originally a 6 lug axle. You will have to identify the rear end that you have to determine if it is from that year of truck to determine fitment.

Sorry we do not offer axles for your 67 C10 with 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern. You will need to do some research as to the compatibility of the Impala axles as we are unsure on the ability to use those in your pickup.

These axles are the same strength as stock axles. You will still use the brake shoes for your 1969 with this conversion kit.

No this will not fit your 3/4 ton application. Sorry I do not have the correct axle for your application. You would need to swap out the entire rear end to change to a 5 lug bolt pattern.

This kit will work on the half ton 6 lug rear ends out of 65 to 69 GM pickups. If your 94 GMC is a 2wd with 5 lug wheels then it will be the same 5 on 5" bolt pattern. The lug nuts on your 94 will be metric however. The lug nuts required for the studs included with these axles are 7/16"-20.
