This pitman arm is for manual steering box, will not fit power steering. Nice piece still.

OEM stock replacement pitman arm fits steering box on 1964 Chevy Fullsize and 1968-72 GM Midsize. * Center eye to Center eye = 5" * Outside Diameter of Splines = 1.082" * Drop = .500" For manual steering box only. Note: this is for manual steering only and different dimensions apply to the power steering version!

Pitman arm part # 91032557 is made for the GM box. This box will not fit the Ford power steering box.

im looking at this for a cross steer application not the car its designed for .. im guessing by this thing having .694" of drop it means the tapered end the tie rod goes hangs below the splined end by that amount as installed on a steering box in the vehicle.... that said, in this orientation, is the tie rod end tapered so the tie rod installs from the top or bottom side of the pitman arm.. thankyou very much

On the pitman arm the drop goes down and the center link end goes in from the bottom which means the large part of the taper is on the bottom side of the pitman arm.
