Now you can update your 1957 Chevy passenger car with a 5-way adjustable tilt wheel column. They accept a 1" DD U-joint or coupler and '67-'94 GM steering wheels or adapters. Keep in mind that a tilt column will move the steering wheel back about 2". If you are using a stock steering box you will have to modify it to accept a 3/4" DD.
Made from stainless steel tubing available in a paintable or chrome finish, with a transmission shifter.
Note: These columns are for use with 3 or 4 speed automatics (P-R-N-D-L) and will not work with stock iron PowerGlide transmissions.

Uses the two original holes in the floor to mount the bracket. The clamp secures the bracket to the column.
This floor mount is strongly recommended with all Tri-Five Installations.
This wiring harness adapts the OEM 1957 harness to the aftermarket Ididit column. The Ididit column uses the flat ribbon plug common to the later GM columns and should be adaptable to work with the later GM columns and other aftermarket columns using the GM ribbon style flat plug in. As always, wiring layout and sequence will need to be verified for each circuit.

Item DetailsThis wiring adapter is designed for the stock o/e harness to adapt to an Ididit steering column. These adapters work with 1957 Chevrolet passenger cars.
This kit allows you to run your original automatic column with a GM 500, 600, or 605 series conversion power steering box. Features an improved shift lever design and added clearance at the firewall.
Includes new tube, shaft, and floor plate. Accepts 3/4" DD rag joint.
This column is 3 1/2" shorter than stock. The overall housing length from the top of the turn signal housing down to the end of the column housing is 29-1/8".
