Would these work on a 67 corvette with an LS3 with rack an pinion an manual clutch and not be too low? the car is very low. I have headers now that would also fit 67-69 camaro but hang down too much, drag on every thing. Any help would be great.

These headers were designed specifically for the 55-57 Chevy and cross over to a 67 Corvette is questionable. If you have the motor in your car straight off the LS block to the frame the headers will NOT clear. They are designed to be used with an adapter plate on the side of the block running forward and using an original style small block mount such as our number 91618016. The rest of the cross over issues can be covered by the basic dimensions and some at home measuring on your part. From the head surface out to the furthest point is 5” and from the top of the flange to the bottom of the collector is 15”. From the front of the flange to the end of the collector is 24”. You may also want to visit with Pertronix (the manufacturer) on availability of a set for your application.

These are designed for 1955 to 1957 Chevy cars only. It is possible they could fit other applications but we are not able to confirm any other applications.

I bought a set of these headers for my 55 B210. I have an Ls engine mounted 3/4" forward for firewall clearance. These headers dont come close to mating to the head before coming into hard contact and binding against the original steering box. They dont appear to be designed to fit this application at all. I'm 68 years old and have installed lots of headers over the years and just dont see any way for these to fit. I'm a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran and can't afford the high dollar name brand headers that might fit. Solutions ??????????????? Thanks

We apologize for the problems but as of to date we have had no returns for defects and only 2 simply returned out of all that have been sold. Whether it is the 3/4" forward or the height of the engine I am uncertain. With the Tri-5's being the hardest to fit for headers if you have the original steering box could be the issue as the power conversion box fits according to the manufacturer in most cases depending on engine location. You may want to check with Pertronix as one of our suppliers and reference their part number H8046 for other contributing factors
