None for me. It does get fairly close ( 3/16" ) between my upper control arm lip and mag surface but no contact. I was ready to use a thin wheel spacer if need be.

You will need a 15inch wheel for proper clearance.

Part # 91034921 These spindles work with the Metric calipers which are slightly smaller in mass than the earlier calipers and work with many 14” wheels. The brake kit runs 10 ¾” rotors and if we add 1” extra for the calipers the overall diameter increases to 12 ¾ and with that in mind you can check your wheel in the area it will sit over the caliper to verify fit. Some wheels are so close that a little of the caliper housing may need removal for the necessary clearance. Disc brake compatible wheels are required and the early (before disc brakes) wheels in 14” normally will not clear.

Adjustable Proportioning Blocks With Brake Light Switch
(Part #91031358)

This adjustable proportioning block allows you to run lines from the master cylinder to the block and then to the appropriate wheels. What is neat about it is that it also contains the proportioning valve and brake light switch. This dramatically reduces the amount of fittings needed and potential leaks.

The adjustable proportioning valve regulates rear brake pressure, helping to maintain correct brake bias between front and rear brakes. It is designed for dual bowl master cylinders. The distribution block connects to the master cylinder and distributes brake fluid to all four wheels. An easy to turn handle with directional arrows makes it simple to either increase or decrease rear brake pressure.

The block accepts 3/16" brake lines and the inlets and outlets on this unit are 3/8"-24 inverted flare females.  It has two inlets from the master cylinder, two outlets to the front brakes and one outlet to the rear brakes.  It includes five stainless steel 3/16" fittings and wiring pigtail for rear brake light switch. Mounts to any convenient location. This is not a direct factory replacement for original blocks. Some line modifications may be necessary.

1958-64 Chevy Full-size Car Brake Booster Combo, Disc/Disc, Drum/Drum
(Part #91031974)

When you put modern disc brakes on your 1958-1964 Chevy full-size car (Bel-Air, Biscayne, Impala, 150 Series, 210 Series), you should update the master cylinder as well. Stock 4-wheel drum master cylinders do not have the capacity to supply the proper amount of pressure for disc brakes. For best results, we recommend using this simple, bolt-on master cylinder booster kit on all 4-wheel disc brake conversions or as a power brake upgrade for 4-wheel drum brake applications.

  • 8" dual diaphragm booster
  • 1" bore master cylinder
  • Adjustable proportioning valve for rear brake line
  • Master cylinder has outlets on both sides for ease of plumbing
  • 1/2"-20 and 9/16"-18 outlets
