Speedway Motors 91356151 Details
This custom built, motor driven electric wiper conversion kit bolts to stock brackets and uses stock wiper transmisson and arms. It will clear the cowl vents and air conditioning systems.
Two speed, 12 volt operation with self-park feature. Includes wiring harness, switch and nylon bushings for arms.
NOTE: This wiper kit is designed for trucks that have the original vacuum wiper motor and linkage in place. Trucks that do not have the original electric wiper motor will need to acquire an original set of vacuum wiper motor linkage to complete this installation.

Nice replacement
I like how easy it was to install and its features like two speeds and its autopark. However, I had to bend the support bracket into and S-shape to shorten so it would fit. Also, where the motor is located under the cowl vent I worry that it is susceptable to rain and dirt coming in through the vent.

Works with many modifications
I thought this would be a slam dunk. I am a well versed builder. However,this kit pushed every one of my buttons. *No instructions. Found competitor's website had them. *Does not mount where vac motor does, brackets require removal. *Wipers park in wrong direction, changed pin in gear box. *Actuator arm 1.25", stock arm is 1", required cut and weld. After all of the above, the kit is installed and works great.

For my application the product was clocked wrong, (too much sweep) it can be clocked differently by opening the back cover and changing the degees to 100 or 110

Like I saw in other reviews the pivot arm is to long by about a 1/4" and it make it bind up so it won't work. The directions say you are supposed to bend the arms if it doesn't fit so it's a known problem. I cut 1/4" out of the arm and welded it back together. Works great . Looks like the manufacturer would fix this known issue. Other than that issue it went in well and seems to work. I still have to order wiper arms so I haven't given it a real test.

Was driving the wipers in the wrong direction. Had to access the gearbox and re-clock it. Moved the pin on the gear wheel from 12C to 10C. Once I re-installed, it worked as it should.

Very disappointed that Speedway sells such a poor product. A number of individuals have mentioned the same issues, all issues that should have been fixed but no, Speedway continues to sell a lousy product. My mechanic installed this. Had I seen the issues sooner this would have been shipped back.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing. When installed per the instructions, the mechanism goes in the wrong direction. When wipers are parked, activating them moves them down towards the hood. So frustrating. The only fix is to disassemble the gear box and move the pin 180 degrees. I saw a few other reviews stating the same thing. Also, the two Allen screws that hold the arm on the shaft would not keep from slipping. I had to put longer screws in a lathe to make them pointed to bite the shaft. Speedway should not sell these as is.
