What's in the Box

Info

These strong, lightweight steel bellhousings are just the ticket for installing a Mustang T5, Tremec TKO 500/600, or TR3550 manual transmission behind your 1949-53 Ford Flathead V8 engine. The compact design allows the bellhousing to fit in tight quarters and will accommodate up to a 10-1/2" clutch. Set up to use a clutch fork and release bearing, but can also be used with hydraulic release bearings.

NOTE: Must be used with Speedway starter 91067465 (standard block) or Powermaster 91067475 (French block).

Bell housing 91027031 is made to accept the Ford T5 and will not work with the S10 T5. We apologize but do not carry the correct bell housing but we offer a complete kit with the Tremec 5 speed in various configurations as long as you can furnish the 3" bell housing used on the 48 and up pickups and 49-53 Mercs and the base kit is 91028908. We can also put the kit together with adapter number 91628914 where a customer could use a diaphragm pressure plate and hydraulic throw out bearing.

This bellhousing will not allow the use of a clutch fork. This is for use with a hydraulic throwout bearing only.
