We apologize but the electronic distributors for the flathead engines only operate on 12 volt and you would need to opt for the Mallory points distributor to use on a 6 volt system.

The size of plug wires isn't too critical, most will be 7mm or 8mm. You will need to use a spiral core spark plug wire such as 91064200 or 69870051.

Speedway part number 9101000. This Flathead ford distributor uses a mechanical advance with springs and weights much like a Chevrolet mechanical advance. These should not need to be adjusted. Set your base timing, and it should be fine to leave it at that. If you really want to adjust the advance curve, you must change the springs and weights on the advance assembly.
