Answer this question
A:
You inquired about using our motor mount number 1353273 on your Chevy pickup and these are actually the frame mounts for the 49-54 chevy car. They are designed to be used with the front cradle mount on the motor under part number: 1356023 and cushion kit number: 7209314. You could still use the last two items and fabricate the frame mounts as needed. Another option would be part number: 91018040 which would require matching the brackets to your frame and welding or also part number: 91018031 which you notch and alter to match up with your frame, weld in place and use either the stock side engine mounts or an optional polyurethane mount. One more option would be kit number: 7204771 for the later pickups and you would need to modify these to work with your narrower frame. Just one of many ways to approach the project.

Answer this question
A:
These mounts will not fit a '50 Chevy pickup. Our 720-4771 could be modified for this application, or 916-18012 + mount cushions 910-18012 should work as well. The transmission mount crossmember 916-28904 + cushion 910-18016 should be a pretty good bet as well.

Answer this question
A:
These frame adapters when used in conjunction with the appropriate engine mount and the bolt through cushion kit number 7209314 allow swapping motors into your 1949-54 Chevy car. Currently we don’t offer frame mounts for other manufacturers vehicles of similar years but if using on a GM vehicle these would be a good starting point but will require some modification.
