It's getting harder to find usable Flathead flywheels and clutch components. We offer you these new steel flywheels for later 1949-53 engines. Weighs 24 lbs.

Will accept 10", 10.5" and 11" Ford (Long-style) and 10.5" Borg & Beck Diaphram pressure plates. Use 7/16" Chevy flywheel bolts to mount to crankshaft.

    For 1932-1953 early & late Flathead V8 engines. Weighs 12 lbs. For use with "Long" style pressure plate (10.5" or 11" diameter) or "Diaphragm/Borg Beck" style pressure plate (10.5" diameter). Must use a non-metallic, 100% organic clutch disc or failure will immediately occur. Accepts either the stock starter or our 910-67475 starter.
    Per the Manufacturer - This flywheel is generally not recommended for naturally aspirated street vehicles but, will work well in lighter weight vehicles with either a supercharged or turbocharged engine. This lightweight flywheel is ideal for higher horsepower engines and combinations that require achieving rapid RPM levels.

This high quality flywheel is machined from aluminum and has a steel insert friction surface. It's best suited for high performance, supercharged or race oriented flatheads.
