how deep is the dimple if I were to modify by trimming the dimple out how much width of the fender would I have to remove, I am actually remodeling a 1983 ford e350 truck into a food truck and I really want a old1930's look I use to build movie sets so I think I can achieve this look, any advice you can give me would definitely be appreciated

The dimple in the right side fender is 10 ¼" x 6 ¾" and resembles the shape of a football. It is located on the centerline of the fender.

These fenders are listed for half ton trucks. After doing some research some sources indicate they are the same and some say they are different. To verify if they will fit compare the dimensions listed to your application fenders. Overall Length: 55.00" Overall Width: 12.25" Arc Length: 82.00" Front edge to center of wheel well is 19-1/2." Width at the edge of the front of the wheel well is 12-1/2" Width at the edge of the rear of the wheel well is 11-1/2"

These fenders are currently only offered in one variation and the passenger side fender has the dimple for the spare tire mounting. Customer would need to modify and alter the fender so as to eliminate the dimple if desired.

The "parting line" remaining from the mold of these fenders can be removed with careful sanding (probably starting with around 220 grit paper). If you are trying to alter the fundamental "arch" of the fender line, you will almost certainly need to add additional layers to the underside and sand or grind off the excess from the top.
