What's in the Box

Each of these complete 1938-1939 Ford Mini Zephyr LED Signature Series tail lights are optimized for visibility and proper fit on the car. All of our tail lights include a pressure cast bezel, a molded-in reflector for lights-off safety, and stainless steel hardware.

Plus, with RapidFire technology, the brake lights are pulsed rapidly three times within the first 1/2 second of pressing the brake pedal followed by constant ON. This cycle is repeated every time the brake pedal is pressed. We think this is a valuable safety feature, but can be overridden at time of installation. To disable the pulse feature do not hook up the red wire on the tail lights.

A lot brighter than stock. Like the fast double flash for turn signals, and the fast triple flash then solid on the brake lights.

Very nice quality tail lights

August 31, 2010
Nice quality from the actual heavy weight to the great chrome finish. We purchased these primarily based on the LEDs and flush mounting. We were very surprised to find them so well built and thought out. The mounting template in the instructions was very useful and made placement a breeze. "Rapid Fire" feature of the LED module was a plus.
Yes, I recommend this product.

First check to see if you have a full battery charge even tho the LED is a minimal current draw. Then double check the ground to make sure that a light circuit is not hunting for a ground and back feeding. Then try hooking up the yellow to see if that may make a difference. With one circuit handling both stop and turn it would be down to the turn signal switch. The clamp on switches do not function with the LED flashers and you will need to use the load resistors.

What to do with the yellow wire? My vehicle has a 2 wire plus ground. I hooked it up in accordance with the instructions. I want the puled feature on the stop (that is why I BOUGHT THESE LIGHTS). I di not understand what to do with the Yellow wire, so I left it unhooked. Everything works, except when I turn on the running lights and the turn signal the light just flickers, both sides at the same time. With the running lights off it works fine. I have the P/N 91064112 flasher installed. Thanks Swampdog, Breaux Bridge, LA

For vehicles with two tail lamp wires plus ground follow instructions below. 1.Connect the black wire from the tail light to the parking (running) light circuit on your vehicle. 2.Connect the red wire to the stop lamp circuit on your vehicle. If you do not wish to use the pulse on stop feature connect the yellow wire on the tail lamp. 3.Connect the green wire from the tail lamp to a good body ground

Can the LEDs be seen well from behind if mounted on an angled saddlebag? I have a Vulcan 1500 with hard saddlebags and would like to mount one of these on each. However, LEDs are usually very directional and I'm concerned that since they will mounted at a 75 degree angle rather than 90 degree they may not be effective. Will these work well at that angle?

The mini Zephyr lights number 91137033 have a rounded lens and mounting with 15 degrees off from straight back should not create any visible concern as far as amount of output or brightness.

Mini Zephyr light number 91137033 are an LED style light and not OEM. They are 5 ¾” tall and 3.0” wide and have 3.5” center to center mount studs. They are a flush mount style and would fit the standard Ford mount pattern and dimensions. Compare to your current like to verify exact switch over.

Can these be mounted on a curved fender? I'm converting my bike to a trike, and the rounded fenders are a fairly close fit around the wheels. Can these tail lights follow the curve of the fenders? I would mount them approximately where the cardboard cutout is in the picture. If they would work, would the Lincoln Zephyr lights also work? Thanks.
