These Speedway deluxe king pins are a great improvement over stock-style king pins. They replace the original brass king pin bushings with precision needle bearings that provide superior strength, better lubrication and easier steering.

They're simple to install and are an easy, cost-effective way to upgrade your 1937-1948 Ford or 1949-1954 Chevy suspension, as well as tubular or I-beam street rod axles using 1949-1954 Chevy spindles.  Includes bearing installation tool.

Use with 91632100 or 91632104 spindles.

I highly recommend this kit!

By Lugnut from Greenleaf, WI. on 8/5/2011
Pros:
Easy To Install, Improves Handling
Cons:
Needs itemized parts list
Best Uses:
Replacement
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This deluxe kit was installed in my t-bucket. The 12 year old king pins had worn out their welcome. This deluxe kit from Speedway Motors was a cinch to install, however I'd like to highly recommend to whomever puts this kit together for Speedway MOtors, that an itemized list of parts be included in the instructions..I had a few parts leftover following installation and to this day I have no clue as to where they go. This would ease the mind of many novice mechanics.

i have been a mechanic for a very long time and have always hated putting in king pins, but this set is the easiest i have ever done,no special tools needed, no reaming of the bushings, and no betting things in with a hammer, it all just slide together very nicely, and now my 27 roadster steers like a race car.
